Google Adsense for Joomla

Locations:

1. Content -> Content by Section -> Newsflashes  (Adsense channel: MainMenuSmallRectTop)

2. Modules -> Site Modules -> New Module  (Adsense channel: MainMenuWideSkyLeftBottom)

3. Content -> Frontpage Manager -> Article  (Adsense channel: ArticleHalfBannerTop)

Is there a way to just insert adsense directly into content without modules?

How about a plugin?
AdSense Plugin

AdSense Mambot

Usage : {mosgoogle} in content or AutoAds “ON” displays a Google Ad as specified in paramenters.

You can also use {mosgoogle left}, {mosgoogle right}, {mosgoogle none} and {mosgoogle center} if you want the ad align differently from the set parameters.
Add a channel id after the align param or only channel id to select individual channels for your ads

You can choose to display Ads or AdLinks, Collapse empty ads or replace them with an alternate ad or color

2.0
Added some new features like AutoAds, Alternate Ads and Colors, and collapsing.
2.1
Added {mospagebreak} support for AutoAds and AutoAds position (top/bottom).
2.2
Added multiple exclude sections. Added parameter to hide ads in Intro only view.
New parameter “channel” : Use {mosgoogle align channel} to select a channel to use from the content editor.
Channel info can also be fetched from com_user_extended: channel info will be taken from the authors user information, defaults to field user15

it is simple to add adsense to content. Turn off rich text editor in joomla global configuration (Choose No WYSIWYG Editor) and directly post google code inside your content and it will be published as it is. no need of any module or anything to post…(remember to override the write-protect when saving the new configuration)

VMWare Player or Server

As far as I can make it out, I figure that the selection should be based on the following:

1. For desktop, standalone app, use Player.

2. For server, networked environment, use Server. It can also be used to make VMWare apps.

Current version is VMWare Server 2.0 Beta. During installation, Windows will complain that it is not Windows Logo certified…no problem to continue.

Organisation Chart in Windows Office

The Org Chart application does not automatically install in a standard installation of Windows Office.

In the Add/Remove Programs function, click MS Office to add program, and select Organisation Chart. It may require the MS Office installation CD.

Alternatively, use HumanConcepts’ Org Plus Express which is the free version as an Add-on for MS Office. The current version is OrgPlus7 (Express Version) at http://www.orgplus.com/products/

After installing OrgPlus7, the toolbars of Office 2003 (or older) will have the OrgPlus icons (New and Edit). For Office 2007, access the OrgPlus app from the toolbar, INSERT -> OBJECTS -> HumanConcepts Org Chart.

Joomla Customisation

V.1.0

To move the positions of the articles on the main page, use the Front Page Manager, not just the Contents Manager.

Weblinks categories can only be created by the Super Admin.

When creating Categories, the C. Title is an internal description, while the C. Name is what appears in the webpage.

The Super Admin has to approve the publication of the link. The URL need NOT have the “http://” prefix.

The Contact Us link is to a component “contacts”. Update/edit the contact info by Super Admin in the component.
